I recently had my P&L annual financial statement and 1120 and 1040 prepared by an Indian company that won my last bid.
The challenge is that Im not confident they did me right.
I need a CPA to look over the paperwork, tweak it and make it work for me. The corporation is not an S-corp. I declared personal income taxes on income that was reported on my SSN by way of 1099 by other companies. That was like $2,500/for the year.
I didnt draw a salary from my company, though. So, I want to make sure that this Indian cat did the right thing in terms of calculating my taxes due. I am bankrupting this business, anyway, in another eight (8) months. So, Im not worried about being audited.
What I am concerned about is this:
I had an auto accident, and the opposing side is willing to settle with me because it was their drivers fault.
My insurance company is also willing to provide me with "loss of income/wages" for up to 52-weeks, provided that I made at least $1,500 (since they will provide me with 80%, or no more than $1K/month). At my current 2008 personal income tax, it shows that I only made $2,500 for the year. My company definately made that income+, but I dont want to file something with the IRS on the corporate side, and get turned down for loss of wages.
SOMEONE WHO HAS ADJUSTER experience will be ideal for this project.
ALSO, I attended an international esthetics school, and I need a letter from my USA CPA stating that hes reviewed my tax returns and it does indicate that the income shown is from someone has has worked at least 600-hours in the esthetics field. This letter has to be from an AMERICAN CPA, on their letterhead. Once I submit that letter to my school, along with a copy of my tax returns, I will get my international license (CIDESCO). Its a beauty cert.
