Need A Long Range Tx And Rx Designed And Proto

Looking for an engineer to design and build a proto of a long range Transmitter and receiver.

Range: ~800 meters- Must be designed so that I do not need a FCC license…

Transmitter–
size: flexible on size ( no larger than 8"x4"x6, but size is fliexibel)
Power source- needs to be able to plug into home 110V AC
Function-
—–Transmitter will detect a switch being open or closed (on or off) via a push button switch type device.
—–Once the state of the switch is detected it will transmit the status to a receiver
—– When the transmitter senses the "switch" status change thats when it will transmit the status

Receiver–
Size : must be small- ~ 4"x2"x1"
Power source– needs to function off of Battery or 12V DC or both.
Run time off battery needs to be at least 1 month-
function-
—— Rx will get a signal from Tx to show status of open or closed switch ( on or off)
—— When Rx get a open signal (on) from Tx it will power up a Green LED
—— When Rx gets a Closed signal (off) from Tx it will power up Red LED
—— Once LED will stay on for 45-60seconds
—— When user wants to know the last known state of the LED they can push a button that will power up the LED RED or GREEN depending on the last state the LED was in.
—— LED will be a dual or tri color LED— one LED for all uses— This LED does not have to be mount on board- It can be a remote lead— about 5
—— Button (switch for user to press to find out last state of LED) will also be remote mounted and does not need to be on the PCB.

TDM8 Audiostream To TCP/IP

Need to interface 2 boards with Analog-Devices ADAU1401A and establishing a point to point connection via a TCP/IP connection.

The project should:
- Provide source code in C with all necessary files to successful implement in the MCU
- Schematic diagram
- Use a MCU with a TCP/IP Stack to send or recive a TDM8 serial stream of 8 Channel of audio 96k 24bits from the ADAU1401A.
- The MCU should have connection to a LCD Display and push-buttons to navigate in menus for configuration purposes of the TCP/IP Network connection and to basic configurations of ADAU1401A (like volume up and down per Channel).
- Synchronized send -> receive of the channels ( channel 1 send should be channel 1 receive), provide low latency
- MCU could be Microchip PIC32

LiFePO4 BMS

The goal of this project is to monitor, display info, and protect large LiFePO4 battery packs using Linears LTC6802IG-2 chip. A total of two (2) PCBs will have to be made. A host PCB which will contain an attiny2313 and a radio transmitter, and a client pcb which will contain the LTC6802IG-2. This way multiple client PCBs can be connected to monitor and protect battery packs with large cell counts. The radio transmitter will interface with the EZ430-CHRONOS-433 watch from TI. The watch will display information sent by the LTC6802.

POS Logger

I am lookingfor a system/ software or hardware that can be connected to an Ingenico POS terminal(5100, etc). This system is required to log all transactions and wirelessly send the 3 track data and pin (time and date stamped) before the data is encrypted.

GPS, SMS Microcontroller Interface

The purpose of this system will be to send and receive SMS communications via a GSM and PS module interfaced to a PIC microcontroller using serial data transmission.

The micro should have 4 switched outputs, and 4 momentary outputs.

Should have an interrupt based alert feature,such that, if the interrupt line is triggered, either by going high / low, then an SMS message should be sent instantly.

This message should also contain the GPS co-ordinates.

The system should also be able to respond to certain messages sent to it via SMS, such as switch outputs, return system status, start gps logging.

The messages will need to be sent in the format PASSCODE*ACTION ie 1234*LATCH1 or 1234*TOGGLE1 or 123*STATUS etc.

The system should also be able to allow passcode to be changed via SMS ie PASSCODE*CHANGEPASS*NEWPASS ie 1234*CHANGEPASS*4567

Finally, the system should only respond to the registered mobile number which would have to be saved to eeprom on the PIC from the first message sent it containing the word REGISTER*MASTER.

This number should be able to changed at anytime using PASSCODE*DEREGISTER*NUMBER*NEWNUMBER where number is the current stored mobile number, and newnumber is the new master mobile number.

This should be coded in either mikroC or mikroBasic.

Pin layout for the pic is open at present, so that would be upto you, how you wish to connect the modules. inputs and interrupt trigger.

Two Microphone Speech Enhancement Module For Windows

We need a speech enhancement module for Windows XP/Vista/7 (32/64 bit) for langauge examination. Each candidate wear a headset which has microphone #2 on one ear piece (for recording the neighbour candidate speech and environment sound) and microphone #1 (for recording the candidates own speech). Both microphones #1& #2 will connect to a usb sound card (cmedia 6206 chipset) with two microphone inputs. We need the speech enhancement module can use microphone #2 s recordings as reference to filter these noise/sound from microphone #1s recording so to deliver a clear and silent speech recording for exam assessment.

Since we already made own sound card driver so we just need a module to compare and filter the neighbor speech and environment noise.

Note: environment noise in general not much but neighbor speech quite much because candidates are sitting close.

Output To Parallel Port From VBA Access

I need to send a signal (go high/5v) on the parallel port of the xp pc. I have a Access database built that we scan the boxes bar code) and print the label. I can put the code in Access and add a dll driver but I cant get the VBA code to work for me. I will add it to the proper events on the forms and button as needed if you get the code working.
We are going to send the message to a basic stamp and it will advance the belt to the next box and we will start the process over. I would be happy to have some help us use a serial port and communicate data if it would be easier to complete the project.

I need a program for pic32 with the following specs:
sip, sdp, rtp, rtcp and stun (or any other nat transversal) protocols
the p32 will only be required to receive incoming sip calls
p32 will never initiate sip calls and will never require any incoming or outgoing authentication
no call transfers, no notifies no nothing.. just the mininum sip implementation to be able to receive calls and bridge audio

the pic32 will have 2 connections to the outside world:
1.- ethernet (could be using internal MAC and external PHY or external enc28j60 or enc424j600 mac+phy).
2.- spi SLAVE connection to external dsp/uC to compress/decompress speex/g711u/g711a/gsm audio (probably will be a dspic or another p32) but this second chip is outside the scope of the project

Usb Dialer

The idea behind this project is to create an application that can control GSM/CDMA phones connected to a PC/MAC thru the usb port. Up to 100 devices should be reasonable.
A lot of parameters for the application would have to be defined, but the important thing is that the programmer be knowledgeable in usb port programmation, as well telephone API programming. Its necessary to be able to discover the commands for a specific device (if no documentation provided).
The project is open for improvments as it goes. Logging of all actions and results/responses will also be an important part of the application.

General idea:
connect XX GSM/CDMA phones by usb, give a list of phone numbers to the application, it will then start to send the dial command to the handset (each handset receives a number) and monitor the calls (reporting status of line: busy, off hook [thus recording connection time], no answer), record the results to file…

Circut Design And Prototype – Pressure Sensor LED Readout

I require a circuit design and prototype for a medical device that will convert hand grip pressure on a cylindrical object constructed of medical grade silicone to a LED Readout. The LED 5-bar readout will have red red amber amber green indicator of handgrip pressure on the cylindrical silicone bar. The bar readouts will indicate levels of pressure from soft (bottom red) to firm (green) Actuation of the sensor/readout will occur on application of pressure. De-activation will occur ~60 seconds after last activity. The power source will be a button battery. The construct must use smallest possible components. The sensor must operate being encased in Medical Grade Silicone. As it is a medical device, the sensor must be able to tolerate (in off state) 140 degrees Celcius in an Autoclave. The LED readout and power and MCU circuit will be detatchable to avoid autoclave. The force range would be 0 – 100kpa, and the sensor preferably must be cylindrical and measure lateral forces on the cylinder of med grade silicone. This will be used to measure grip strength of infants. Smaller is better. The sensor should read approx 0 – 100KPa.

A sensor range need to be indicated due to dampening of the force due to the Silicone. That is – the grip strength will be 0 – 100kpa, but I need to be able to interchange the sensor to accommodate the dampening effect of the Silicone till I get an appreciable reading. The other way that this could be acheived is calibrating the MCU to account for the loss of sensitivity or having an adjustable sensitivity.
