I have a website that has already been created in Joomla 1.5. I need a Joomla developer to build a component that will:
1. Allow visitors to register with the website either as a Business Owner or a Business Agent (different fields required for each). Once they are registered the Business Owner or Agent must be able to log in and see an account area where they would be able to have various options such as "View/Update the account profile", "Buy Products and Download" "Checkout", etc.
2. Shopping Cart – Checkout using Paypal
3. There must also be a "Search Users" link that will search for a registrant by Business Type, City, Contacts Last Name, etc. (only viewable by Managers)
4. There must be a "Managers" level. This level must be able to be assigned by the Site Administrator. These accounts would have additional functions such as having an option to update a Registrants Account Profile, Contact Users, Add Documents to Download, etc.
I began this project using Joomapolis Community Builder I got close but never got it to do 100% of what I wanted to do. So if you are skilled enough with Community Builder that you want take what is done so far and expand and modify it then that could work.
However it does not matter what is used to complete the project I am willing to start completely fresh with a newly developed component as long as it does what is requested and can be expanded upon later on.

I need a JOOMLA developer for a Surf Equipment Review site where:
- I can post reviews
– Using a standard template
– Add images to the reviews
- Site visitors should be able to do the following:
– Search/navigate to reviews they are interested

The site should also have to ability to make money from advertising.
Once the site is built I will need to develop and upload a lot of reviews so this functionality should be user friendly. All reviews should follow the same format/template.

Use of templates is fine as long as they appear unique.
I estimate 5 different review criteria which should be customizable by the administrator. Each review criteria should be 1 to 5 (5 being good).
The site has to be very professional looking. Not too many bells and whistles.
Site must be SEO and URL friendly.

Functionality would need to be similar to Groupon, this means selling daily coupons/vouchers for local businesses – but only after minimum number of coupons is sold.

- ability to run deal of the week, parallely with deal of the day
- display of past deals (archive)
- comments on deals
- user-registration and "purchase" of the deal
- integration of payment gateway for payment of deals – no shopping carts. Paypal gateway to be included in your offer, additional local gateways to be added at additional budget
- electronic coupons / vouchers need to be generated inside the admin system
- option to share offer on Facebook, Twitter, by emailing to friends
- option to receive alerts via e-mail (mailing list)

- ability to localize content and interface into three different languages

Planned budget for the proejct is 1.000 USD, and additional funds can be negotiated for extra functions. Basic design will be provided (images, logos), but provider will need to create final design.
Second step will be developing business-2-business group buying website, in which companies will be buying services/products in similar way. This will be new design and on separate domain, but with similar functionality. Additional budget will be provided for this.

I have a Joomla site that needs the finishing touches put on it. Three pages use simple image gallery to display photos in lightbox format but it is conflicting with javascript menu system.
