Hi there!

Were looking for a company to help us out with a new project. We teach Australian kids about financial literacy, and want some really cool animations to go along with a few of our short videos (2 minutes).

We were thinking along the lines of these RSAnimate videos:

Or something like infographics. However, we are also interested in flash animations.

Were still unsure as to how many videos we need to do, because this is dependent on cost. If you are able to tell us how much you charge for bulk packages that would be great – so for example how much you would charge for 5, and how much you would charge for 20. Were keen to do as many as possible, cost permitting.

Editing Of My Rough Draft Book Manuscript On Cloud Computing

I am writing a management / IT book on Cloud Computing. I wish to have an editor review and transform my rough manuscript to a draft manuscript that I can pass through the final pre-publication edit, rendering and proofing stage in preparation for publication.

The draft manuscript is approximately 70 A4 pages comprising approx 17,000 – 20,000 words in 2,000 lines ~900 paragraphs.

The document is in MS Word, and I need to have an index created, appropriate styles applied for bullets, indents, paragraphs, headings, etc so that the revised manuscript is consistent from a presentation an layout format

I need to have this manuscript standardised in terms of terminology, spelling, and phraseology, so I probably need someone who is familiar with business and possibly IT concepts to make sure that the content reads well, maked sense, communicates ideas and concepts clearly.

Tharget audience for my book are NOT IT people, but are business managers, so there is no jargon and technical complexity

Primary objective for this book:

I would like to create a streaming platform of video content. The graphic design is already taken care of.
The website will be something similar to youtube with some elements of social networking send messages, post comments etc.

The platform will have two different types of accounts that will be free or premium. Payment for the premium accounts will be made through credit card transactions or paypal. I also want a paypal donation option to fund some projects that will be popular among users.
Finally a search engine that will be able to provide results based on the mood of the person doing the search and not only based on title.For example if a person feels sad and wants to see something funny to cheer his mood the videos that will be categorised as comedy or uplifting should appear.

I need a plastic spacer for some units in the field awaiting customer approval for delivery. This is a rework solution so I need them rushed and am open to suggestions that still meet my criteria.

1. Part must be some type of plastic.
2. Must have high impact resistance as it is being used as a hard stop spacer.
3. Must withstand cold temperatures for long periods and still be impact resistant- approximately -30°F

Need 520 pieces total but I need 85 of them ASAP!!!
Drawing is attached. Again, PLEASE NOTE….. I am open to changes in size, shape etc to some degree to reduce cost.

Description:

The bushing slides over a 53x6mm tab that is welded vertically to cylindrical plate. This plastic bushing must be able to slide freely over tab and have relief for the weld which can vary quite a bit in size 2-6mm. I have attached two images showing one version where the tab slot in bushing has draft so that the bottom has a larger opening to accommodate weld, this requires machining at an angle or with a special tool I guess. The other option is to chamfer the bottom of the tab slot to accommodate the weld.

Either item is acceptable, our criteria is cost. And as mentioned, we are open to suggestions for reducing the cost.

The tab dimensions are 53mm x 6mm with ±1mm. The bushing it self can vary in thickness from 20mm to 30mm and the OD must be no less than 90mm.

We are seeking a partner to help us source a low cost netbook that runs a full linux OS. The target cost is $100 or lower.

The specs needed are already found in another product. They are displayed here: http://lkcl.net/arm_systems/CT-PC89E/

(We may need to make minor adjustments to the design e.g. upgrade the CPU to the same one to the 833mhz Samsung S5PC100. This CPU takes DDR2 RAM rather than the slower DDR1 memory which will bring down the costs and improve system performance).

However, the product above violates the GPL licence and thus dealing with it may result in copyright issues.

We are looking for a partner to help us build OR source a similar device. If need be, we will provide our own custom Linux distribution to work with this machine.

Kindly note that we welcome any other low cost full linux laptops that you may have in mind. The only "must have" feature is:
-3G modem with integrated SIM card slot
-Cost should be as close to $100 as possible

Hi I was wondering how much it would cost to do a web site like quibids i want to do the same format. Like one cent biding and different style auctions. If you dont know what quibids is its like a ebay site but but the bids cost the bider 60 cents per bid but the cost of the item only goes up one cent. At the end of the auction if someoone bids before it ends it will add an additional 20/15/10 seconds to the auction to let someone else try and and bid and the auction doesnt end tell no one bids in those last few seconds. I dont know much about designing websites i have the money though if this works out and start making money i would hire web designers to keep up dating the web site. so let me know if you have any other questions about how i want it to work or what u can do. thanks

1. The category and product pages would look exactly like the pages from the dorothy perkins site. However, no Refine Search by criteria is needed on the category pages.

2. On the product categories page, if the user takes the cursor over an image, a small magnified window should open up letting the user zoom into the image.

3. On the actual product page, both the zoom options should be available on the iamge. First, if the user takes the cursor on top of the image, a small magnified window should open up. Also, if the user clicks on the image, an enlarged window should open up.

4. Option to view all the products on the same page, as well as 10 items per page, 20 items per page, 50 items per page etc.

5. On the products page, Along with Add to Basket, the following options should be available –
Ask a question about this product
Email a friend about this product
Feedback about the product

6. For every product the default values would be as follows –

Optional Colour – Same as image
Optional fabric – same as image
Size – (least value from the dropdown)
Stitiched or unstitched – stitched
Sleeves – Same as Image

7. For the size for ladies, there are 3 extra large sizes available – XXL, XXXL and XL+. If the user choses XXL it would be +£10, for XXXL +£20 and for XL+ +£30. These amounts should get added automatically to the cost of the product and should be visible as a breakdown when displaying the total cost of teh product. if the user choses any of those sizes. This extra cost would be visible to user in the dropdown itself i.e. XXL (+£10), XXXL (+£20) etc.

8. For Sleeves, if the user chooses long sleeves, it would an additional £10 that would get automatically added to the cost of the product. This should appear in the dropdown as long sleeves (+£10). We need to print the following below the Sleeves dropdown –

9. I would need a sort on the product sub categories page where all the products would be listed. Sorting should be available on the following fields –

Its a simple application that should run on Win7/WinXP which consists of generation of an Invoice, Quotation and also has tools for Job Cost Estimation and Scheduling as mentioned below. I am currently using excel and word for these functions and I just want to integrate them into an application.

Invoice
It should have an invoice creation tool which will open up as a form where in I can fill up details of clients (eg: once I type an alphabet pertaining to my clients company name, it should show the clients company name and address, I should be able to add/delete to a address database. It should also have the Rupee Symbol and should also give the total amount as words. There are two different invoice formats (1-Labour Invoice, 2-Tax Invoice). I already have the formats saved.

Quotation
There should be an option for making a quote. Same company database should be available here too as well as an option for adding a new company. While saving it should save a record with numbering as required by me, I should be able to give it a numbering format in advance. It should save a copy in word format and also show a pdf so that I can email it to the client. I already have a standard format for the quotation, would want it as per the same format.

Job Cost Estimator
Should have input values for External Diameter/Internal Diameter/Length, Material cost, Hardness, Operations to be done,profit margin, heat treatment, metallizing, hard chrome plating, thermal spray coating,
All these operations have a cost calculated per sq. inch. I have the formulas in an excel spreadsheet.

Machine/Job/Operator Time Analysis (Scheduling)
Should have details of machines and I should be able to input the details of components that are currently being machined on each of the machines and the name of the operator. I should be able to add/delete machines and double click to show properties of that particular machine. The main form should have dimensions (External Diameter/Internal Diameter/Length) of the job, hardness, material type and amount of metal to be removed in addition to the machine name/operator name etc.

I require my shipping methods completely changed.

I need the shipping on the site to work like e.g. www.etsy.com ~ www.misi.co.uk ~ www.Folksy.com.

These sites allow each store to choose the cost of shipping every single item. I do not want flat charges or per item charges in the stores. I simply need a method to add the cost of national and international shipping at the time of listing the product. I also need these costs to show up in the product and then the cost to be added to the total in checkout.

The shipping methods in xcart are far too complicated for most store owners. They want something simple and easy to just fill in say an extra field in the product details, this is how the above sites work.

I am looking for someone to assist me in finding a suitable manufacturer of a product. I work in the metal business specifically tungsten and I am looking for a tungsten parts manufacturer. The right manufacturer will be able to either fabricate my specific design or use a current design. I would imagine most would have knowledge of the product type.

I will hire someone who can clearly and efficiently communicate the findings with me. You will need to create a spreadsheet of the costs of each manufacturer you find. I will need a report that includes their contact information. The breakdown must include minimum order quantities, cost of samples, estimated cost of shipping, time needed to fulfill order, names and contact information of the person I would speak with. I may need continued support between myself and the manufacturer and I will pay you if that should occur.

I need a minimum of 4 manufacturers of tungsten products to compare. They must be the original manufacturer and not a third party buyer. There are additional details I will save for the hired party, but please use this as a guide for whether or not you can complete this task.

Im looking for an add-on/module for Oscommerce that will pull data from the Computer Distributor TechData and feed into Oscommerce. We would like to make checkout process automatic & as seemless as possible for customer. Stock Availability, Shipping Cost, etc. Submitting orders to TechData through EDI.

Product Importing to be done on a nightly basis. It needs to allow for a markup to be added to the TD cost – as a default rate, ideally with an ability to set different rates by mfr. or category. Should also have the ability to check for deactive items.

The project make use of decision tree called in WEKA in order to detect intrusion dataset.A cost sensitive algorithm will need to be designed and tested.
There are mainly to part of this programme

a) to detect the intrusion – provide types of attack and where it happen
b) design a decision tree algorithm which is able to reduce the misclassification cost.

Cost sensitive basically mean the number of false negative from calculated result.The algorithm will need to minimise false negative each time. The algorithm will be extended from Metacost and Decision tree.
Further information on the decison tree parameters needed to be set to achieve cost sensitive will be provided once the project has been awarded.
