THE DOMAIN/CPANEL ISSUE
– Determine how to change the domain name on root directory and cpanel
– Next, confirm that the cpanel is operating normally/reflective of the actual live website
– Check that the meta data, keywords, site title are correct for the new domain name, will show up in google search

VIDEO ISSUE
– In core SE video plugin, uploads time out too quickly. Need to set higher value, perhaps.
– Getting errors when trying to upload directly within the "listings/catalogue" plugin… "the subject may not be set twice"
– within the pages plugin, the videos just cue for processing but never process – this one i may have to get the dev to solve.

WEBMASTER
Ive noticed in a couple of places, a subdomain that is part old domain name, part new…. not sure what relevance it has but i have seen this in the context of my websmaster contact address. Want clarify this and if its causing errors.

Hi Everyone,

In the pas few months we have designed a custom cPanel theme (so not just a simple branding). As our company focused on dutch customers the past year, the cPanel theme is hardcoded in Dutch. We are expanding to an international company and therefore the theme should support multilanguage (as the default theme). We have gone through a lot of pages, but due to a lack of time we would like to outsource this job. If we are satisfied, this job will not only include this, but also further development of the theme (javascript, jquery etc.)

We are looking for someone whos experienced with cPanel (preferably with designing themes) as the cPanel theme structure isnt the most easy to customize one.

Require Experienced System Admin With Knowledge Of PDNS

We currently run the site vv.cc which is setup as a domain registrar. to allow users to register domain.vv.cc (wildcard *.vv.cc)

the software vendor setup the site, which runs on a cpanel server.

However BIND / Named on the server is disabled and only the site vv.cc uses PDNS (PowerDNS)

All other sites on the server run with the default cpanel setup.

Everything was running fine, until I used the cpanel migration tool to copy over a new site to the server.
this has now broken vv.cc and all domains.vv.cc redirect but show a cpanel holding page.

nothing on the vv.cc site was altered so this is certainly a dns issue but I do not have the knowledge to find out the issue and the software vendor is currently unavailable.

we require someone who can start right away to complete the job quickly.

Joomla Shooping Cart/Installer

1. We have a Joomla site, but need a shopping cart added to take payment for our products (we are selling a joomla site/component)

2. When a customer pays for the site and selects a template (we will provide the templates), we need a script to create a cpanel account (for a domain that they specify), and install the joomla site with the template and component. The user will then see a confirmation screen saying to go to (theirdomain).com/administrator and it will provide login crudentials and tell them to change their registrar nameservers. We will need to be able to add new products/templates to the cart.

In order to accept your bid, please tell me which shopping cart you will add on to our site, and how you plan to automatically install joomla and create the cpanel account.

Need help with developing new client sign up automation to a e-commerce website. Script needs to read database and create new accounts.

I have a website which new clients will sign-up for e-commerce service. The script ( cron job )

It looks for new accounts in the data base then;

Database will have the information for new accounts. domain name, users email.

1. Creates a new account in cpanel ( website domain name )
2. Creates new database ( will be used for their e-commerce store )
3. Creates new email account
4. Installs e-commerce software and database with its own password for new account
5. Sends email to user about new account, with new installations information.

Im using the software Opencart e-commerce. Basically what I need is a cron job that will take look for new users in the database, then create new accounts in cpanel, install the software ( opencart ), send new users welcome email information.

Old server backup is 4.5gb tar.gz file create by site to site transfer via cpanel, i need it installed on a new server

I do not want to domain transferred over yet but I need the site to be functional via the ip address or a spare domain i have on the new server. the site is a social engine site version 3.2

when I did the server to server transfer i received the error.

I have a custom script that stopped working in my WHM hosting. I need someone who is an expert in WHM/Cpanel to repair this script as it is showing the error on line—- Iti s a simple script that allows the reseller to change IP addresses in their acct. and is loaded as a plug in.

If this task is completely to satisfaction there is other projects that I am looking to outsource and have done.

Need advise for using a WordPress auto-install script in WHMCS.

– This script is specifically and only for users of WHMCS who use cPanel and WHM. Once added to WHMCS installation, the script will automatically install WordPress version 3.0 when a cPanel account is created.
This script can only install WordPress and is installed when the create module command in WHMCS hosting packages is excecuted.

– The script is working well with WP. I need your advise/help so that it will also work with WPMU bundles that we will create from premium.wpmudev.org.

You must be familiar with WHMCS (whmcs.com), WordPress and CPanel.

Security: Joomla-based Website

I used freelancer.com last year to find someone to set up a website for me. I was successful in finding someone but havent been able to contact him to fix this security issue I am now having. (He lives in the UK) Im hoping someone from freelancer.com will again be able to help me.

He set up the site using Joomla, which I had to make myself familiar with. I think weve been hacked (Im pretty sure of it, actually) and now I dont know what to do. I cant access the front-end or the back-end of the site. At first, I just wasnt able to login, I kept getting a username/password error. A few hours later and the site was completely inaccessible and was attacking the PCs of anyone that tried to access it. The only thing I could think of to do so no ones PC would get infected was to go to my hosting site cpanel & password protect the entire public_html directory. Its been over 24 hours since this happened and I need to get my site back up & running ASAP.

I prefer someone that lives in the U.S. and has extensive Joomla knowledge and can actually fix this. Ive scoured the Joomla forums and I think I need to update my Joomla version, but since I cant even access the Joomla cPanel, how can I do this? From my web hosting cPanel? Thats where I get lost.

Website Migration Plesk To CPanel (CentOS)

I have a website hosted on Plesk (Linux, apache, php, mySQL) on a Parallels virtual private host. I have domain controller access and ftp, no root access. The hosting provider also supports Cold Fusion.

My Cpanel server is a dedicated box, full root access. Also running
Apache, mySQL, php on CentOSx64. Cold Fusion is not installed.

Looking for bids to perform the migration to the Cpanel box:

1) not using the script in WHM/Cpanel, its too error-prone.

2) A simple uploading of the Plesk content to the Cpanel server does not work, there are database issues and path issues. A critical part of the job is to fully document the steps taken so I could re-do this in the future.

3) I will provide user access to the new server to you, the account is set up but the DNS points to the IP on the Plesk server. So you will access by IP. After the work is completed on the migration, we will edit the DNS records with the domain registrar to point to the account on the new server.

4) Your work will be considered completed when the DNS transfer is made and the website is functioning OK on the new server.

5) Optional: Install Cold Fusion on my Cpanel server. Please indicate if you are familiar with Cold Fusion. Please specify if your bid includes the work to install Cold Fusion. I understand Cold fusion is not open-source and if this task is undertaken I will be responsible for the purchase price for Cold Fusion. If you are bid does not include the Cold Fusion install, and you are hired to complete this project, you will not be held responsible for any parts of the website which require Cold Fusion however we will ask you to estimate the charges to modify the scripting so the website is functional without it.

6) The url of the website I am looking to transfer is: www.flatheadvalleybyowner.com. There are extensive php scripts involved, I also believe there was a lot of cut-and-paste performed by the previous developer and the coding is bloated. Please have a look before you consider work on this project. I can provide the sources once we reach a working agreement.

Need A Simple WHMCS Addon Created

I need someone who can create a WHMCS addon for me that will automatically install my script for them as soon as their hosting account is created. It should be a pretty simple project for anyone who is familiar with hook systems, WHMCS, and cPanel.

It is a pretty simple script with 2 configuration files and 1 database that have certain things that need to be replaced. Your addon should upload the script files, create a database and database user, and add that user to the database.

The 2 configuration files would need to have the cPanel username, database name, database user, database user password, and domain added into them.

The database file just has two places where the domain name should be replaced.

If you can do this project I will definitely be using you in the future for updates and future projects. Please let me know how much this would cost and how long it will take. Candidates will be judged based on their price, how long it will take, reviews, and any extra information they can provide regarding their experience with hook systems, WHMCS, and cPanel.

Setup Git+Redmine On WHM/Cpanel CentOS5 64bit Server

Git has already been installed to the server.

However the installation needs to be configured with Redmine as well, and then pointed to a particular subdomain for a CPanel account (also already created).

This is a WHM/Cpanel server that is in production with other sites. Your job will be to get these programs installed and working for programming repo tracking.

This job needs to get done right away and should take less than an hour to whom ever can do it.

There will be an additional bonus paid if detailed step by step of how the setup was done is provided.

Transfer every account of cpanel from old server to new server. IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE make the transfer through CPANEL TRANSFER TOOLS.

Remember there are BACKUPS in backup directory and we must copy this backup files into new server

There are a new FTP BACKUP ACCOUNT of 100GB that we must start to run to make backup of files everyday. Start backup proccess at midnight (Spanish hour) for not blocking machine please.

Remember CPANEL license key is up to 2-25-2012, so we must install cpanel in new server and use the old cpanel license key.

Install and upgrade new CPANEL with old CPANEL license key, valid till 2-25-2012.

This project is to create a website to allow clients to create an email account for existing domain names in a similar fashion to hivemail (except far simpler as no webmail interface is needed)

The current resources are:
* WHMCS – if utilised would save on the need for a shopping cart
