The Vetbook

I need a web-designer with good .php skills to make my site database driven.

I am a final year student at the Royal Vet College-London. I have been creating a website using google sites where fellow final year students and new graduates can up-load a photo and their CV. I collect the data using google forms but to display it on the site I have to enter it manually. I have recently purchased www.thevetbook.com domain and linux hosting with MySQL databases.

I would like my current site www.thevetbook.co.uk to be recreated (or a similar looking site) on this new domain and hosting. I also want the site to be dynamic database driven so that users can enter their details and photo and they automatically appear on the site in the relevant sections and users are able to edit their entries themselves.

The form on the Sign Up! page shows the data I want collected, but I do not want the users email, surname or phone number to appear on the site, as these need to be accessible by me alone. Each user needs their own page with their CV and photo on. People searching for vets need to be able to filter through all the vets on the site by:- the locations theyre looking to work in in the UK; the type of practice (small animal/equine/farm/mixed/exotic); other parameters.

Oscommerce Design Modifications of 4 key pages- need to start today!

We already have an Oscommerce cart installed and customized a bit.
We need your help to build out a few key pages as quickly as possible. Please let me know how quickly you can finish this.
I will provide all PSD files. I will be in touch 24 x 7. Client is
going to a conference next week, so we need to get this done ASAP –
hopefully within the next couple of days.

THANKS!

HOMEPAGE:
=====================================================
We need this page to be the homepage:

http://www.signsofinterest.com/store3/index2.php

Please make the login form work. I think some of those images may need compressing. It loads slow.

Notice the Photo Gallery and QuickOrder buttons up on top.
The QuickOrder buton takes you to the index1.php page (the homepage for the cart)

=======================================================
PHOTO_GALLERY:
=======================================================

In our Oscommerce ADMIN, we setup a special category called "PHOTO_GALLERY"

http://www.signsofinterest.com/gallery_test.html

Customers will NOT be able to purchase from this category. We are going
to use it to display photos of customized signs. No shopping cart
functionality is necessary in this section.

Each product will have 3 photos. We have already installed the Oscommerce mod that allows
for many images per product.

Please see the PHOTO_GALLERY product that we setup (it has 3 product photos):
http://www.signsofinterest.com/store3/admin/categories.php?cPath=26

login: username=admin, password=admin

Please see this HTML prototype that has been developed, it has the correct image sizes in the HTML
and the button rollovers:

http://www.signsofinterest.com/store3/example_photo_gallery.htm

This page needs to be modified to pull in 3 photos for each PHOTO_GALLERY product.
The yellow arrow buttons will read the next or previous product record.

=============================================================
QUICKORDER
=============================================================

When the user clicks on the Quickorder button (up on the top nav toolbar)
it should open the index1.php. Here is what index1.php page is looking like now:

http://www.signsofinterest.com/store3/index1.php

Here is a concept of what the client wants this page to look like:

http://www.signsofinterest.com/store3/OscCustomization/index1.htm

Ugghh… please note – he has this designed with an IFRAME. Is that a big deal? If so, lets do that
later.

==============================================================
PRODUCT DETAIL PAGE
==============================================================

Currently we have some special code on the product detail page for the PRODUCT_ID = 28

For product ID, it will display this form: http://www.signsofinterest.com/store3/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=28

Here is what the client wants it to look like:

http://www.signsofinterest.com/store3/OscCustomization/product_detail_page.htm

Notice the form is on the left? Also notice all those radio buttons?
Lets discuss this part.

THANKS!!

Custom design for single product webshop

Custom professional fitting design and build for single product webshop.

– The selling product is one single version for a Point-of-Sale software registration called: "POSnet".

– The buying customer would have to enter a fixed number of neccesary datafields to create an account and the unique generated machine code which is supplied by the new installation of the Point-of-Sale software after installation on their PC.
(see for the current online registration form, this HTML page: http://www.posnet.nl/register.htm)

– The webshop must keep a database for all the customers and their software registration details(could be more then one), the unique generated machine codes supplied by the customer with the matching software registration IDs supplied by us later.

– Through the ADMIN panel of the webshop we must be able to send an e-mail to the customer (after receiving payment) and add the matching software registration ID that is generated by a special software tool (off-line)and entered within the message. Automatically the software registration ID must be kept in the customer database together with the customer details and matching machine code supplied by the customer.

– This single product webshop must be multi lingual (English, Dutch, German, French)

– Supported payment methods: (Ideal, Credit cards, PayPal)

– The webshop design must fit the colors and style of the product logo and website. see: www.posnet.nl

– Preferred type of webshop is OsCommerce basis because we already own more OsCommerce webshops at the moment.

– Report function for reporting sales over certain period

– Export function for customer details and registration details to comma seperated file or excell.

– ADMIN e-mail to customer
