Drupal CMS Community Genealogy Website

I have an exsiting genealogy website built as static pages in html with a little PHP. It has over 7000 pages, some related to service provisions but mostly free content.
I would like to migrate to a cms. I have looked at drupal but came across some issues and need some help.
I would like to add functionality to this free content allowing customers to add ancestors to a military unit such as an army regiment or royal navy ship. This would create a link through a page that would be created for their ancestor (automatically – similar to a wiki).
The customer should then be able to add new information to this page, creating more links back to the original page but also other pages that are selected (perhaps from a drop-down list). The pages would also have the new ancestor added to them and linked to the new page. Essentially it is internal reciprocal linking.
This should only be available on certain pages.
I do not want customers to have to do the work manually – they should be able to fill in a form (or something similar) and the links/pages created for them.
I would like to limit what customers can and cannot add (ideally specific fields) as I want my pages to remain of a certain quality and format.
It would need sign-ins for customer for security and something to detect undesirable text (swearing, etc) – I should be notified.
It also needs a comments or a place for customers to query content. This needs to come through to me for visibility but I should not be a bottle-neck for adding content.

Website Development

We have a client who needs a custom website developed with a CMS (preferably WordPress) so they can edit the website content and images.

Quick Summary: They sell and install mobile electronics for car dealerships. They DO NOT sell directly to customers online,etc.

They want to create a website that allows their dealer clients to view product offerings, learn about the products and find answers to their customers questions, and allow them to schedule an appointment/order products directly from the website.They just want a function in which the dealer customer can select a product then it all goes into a basic shopping cart, then that form gets submitted and emailed to client. It DOES NOT need e-commerce/payment gateway integration.

We need home page design mockup within 3 days of selecting you. Website must be complete and live by (by 4/22). It must be 100% tested/bug-free and work on all web browsers.

Google Map Customers Schedule Appointments By Location

It needs to have a map of the continental USA and a zip code field. Users can either type in their zip/address or click on a state and zoom in. The interface would allow me to add the google "places" dots to indicate where our current locations are even after you have finished the project. The customer would select the location they want service from and type in their contact information, notes etc. It would be sent to the locations email address as I have defined in the location profile. I would also be CCed on the email. This would need to be a good looking project that could fit on my website and be accessible by every customer. Simplicity and beauty is key. The online database of locations would also need to be editable by me easily.

This program needs to be accessible by 3 different groups of people:

1. Admin – control all aspects of the program
2. Customers – Be able to rate different locations based on their experiences 5 star type system, be able to schedule an appointment and their information is sent to the location(s) closest to them. a TOS would also need to be accepted.
3. Locations – People can become locations by clicking a button and registering. They put in their information and create a profile which is automatically viewable (or i can approve it before it is) and customers can begin seeing it. They must also agree to a TOS and enter a payment form to be charged for every customer referral given. It would also allow them to request a refund and enter a reason for the request which I would be able to look at and process. They can add a picture of their location and other information in their profile. The area that a provider can service would need to be a fixed radius such as "within 30 miles". when a customer wants to purchase from a location and they put in their address, if no provider is close by, either the closest will be notified or the customer will be told that there are not currently any providers in that area and they will be notified later if there are any.

I would like for this to be available for the entire world, not just USA…(easy to implement)

A user account system needs to be made in order to better track customers and locations.

Source For Print On Canvas Suppliers In The US

Hi,

We are a big retailer of photo prints on canvas.

We would like you to conduct a complete supplier sourcing in the US, contacting printing companies that print on canvas (not retailers with a website that sells to end customers like ourselves).

These companies will have an online interface to our print orders and will need to print and ship them to the customers. Each print will be a separate custom made print (we will not order big quantities of the same print)

Assuming that we will order at least 100 prints a month, please prepare a table with the following:

Website Updates

We currently have an e-commerce site and want to make a few small changes to enhance the user experience.

1. Pop up and fade out shopping cart summary with link to shopping cart each time a product is added. Please see www.asos.com and ad a product to the shopping cart for an example of shopping cart technology we desire.

2. Duplicate this function (above) for the "wishlist".

3. Make some aesthetic and functional changes to current shopping cart and wishlist. Detailed images will be provided.

4. Increase the cookie length and using a persistent shopping cart, which saves the contents of the shopping cart for a number of days. Let customers know on the shopping cart summary page how long their cart details will be saved.

5. Edit "register" and "login" forms. Give the customers the option to remain logged in for 30 days.

6. Allow a "guest" checkout, i.e. without creating an account. At the end of the checkout process, prompt guests to "create an account" with the details theyve entered so their details are saved for next time.

Fix My PHP!

I have a very simple web form which allows customers to order tickets to concerts. It transfers them to Paypal, where they can pay. However, it doesnt seem to be working! It all looks ok on my computer but all of my customers say it just takes them to a Paypal page which says theres an error.

Im sure its a very simple fix for someone who knows what theyre doing.

Easy Telemarketing/Sales – Outbound Calls

This project is an easy project for the skilled telemarketer.
There are two components to this project one is lead generation and the other is B2B.

In both cases you will need to use cold calling methods to acquire companies and customers for a free membership sign up on our website. Create Membership Site On WordPress

I have a website on Word Press called about watercolourpaintingbasics.
I have many video tutorials teaching watercolour painting.
These videos are uploaded to WordPress. I want my customers to sign up for their membership and then recieve a video every two weeks.. This needs to be integrated with Word Press, Paypal and Aweber.
I have already created the optin page and sales page. But they are showing on the google page and so the people would not have to pay but can already get it – so this needs fixing so that the customers can only get this data once they have paid.
I need you to set up this site so that my customers can join the course and get drip fed the tutorials once every two weeks.
Obviously potential customers will start at different times but all need to do the course in the correct order of tutorials. They will pay automatically every 14 days.

Warehouse System

Hello All Freelancers.

I am in need of a Warehousing system with both a customer and a administrator front-end.

The system is for a warehouse where I keep my customers goods and ship it for them when they request it. Today they request it via e-mail but I want them to be able to use an interactive system for this.

Administrator should be able to:

Add and delete customer logins
Add products in warehouse seperately for each customer.
Add pictures to every type of goods in warehouse
Add, delete and correct warehouse goods for each seperate customer (Customers should ONLY see their own goods in the system, not all other customers goods too and administrator should see ALL customers goods in system)
Every product added should have a unique product number (Not important to have but nice to have!)

Customer should be able to:

Log in to the system
Add favorite shipping addresses
See inventory status (how many pcs of each type of goods is in warehouse etc.)
Select goods to be shipped (fx.like a shopping cart where customer picks out what should be shipped and how many of each should be shipped)
Select which customer the goods from the shipping card should be shipped to, could both enter data or select from favorites shipping addresses.
See history of previosly placed orders
When order is placed by customer, order details / pick list, unique order ID and recievers address details should be sent to administrators and customers e-mail address. (Just like a reciept when checking out from a webshop)
Every order should have a unique ID in system and should be saved in previously placed orders history.

I think that is all I need the system to be able to do…

Install New Theme For Magento 1.4.0.1

I would like to install a theme onto my running shopping cart.

In addition, I would like to fix my shipment tracking module. Its suppose to let my customers track their shipment, but right now all it says is that its untrackable at this moment. My customers have to go to USPS to view the detailed tracking information. Is it disconnected? This is suppose to be a default feature that comes with the shopping cart.

Magento Multiple Base Currencies

Please take a look at this site: www.swisspepper.com
Notice that each item has a price in Swiss Francs and USD.
Also, notice that two different currencies can actually be processed at the check out.
Is this possible to do in Magento ?
I need someone to make it so that my magento site will display a Swiss Franc price and a dollar price and then direct the customer to the appropriate currency at the gateway.
I want my American customers to pay in dollars and my Swiss customers to pay in Swiss francs.
Ideally, the customers currencies would be restricted by the delivery address.
Im not even sure this is possible in magento, but if someone knows how to do it, I will hire.

Modification Needed For Small Billing Script

Hello,

We have a small billing script and we need a few small modifications. I can provide the exisiting script and give you access to a live test script that is online.

The script has two admin levels:

Super Admin:This is where user accounts are created, sales are listed, customer accounts are listed, etc.

User Admin: This is where individual users log in and view their individual sales, search for customers, create new customer accounts, and charge customers.

The billing portion of the script works perfectly, but we need some changes in the way information is displayed and entered.

Changes needed:
1. Currently the main login welcome page shows all recent transactions. We need this page to include information such as; address, city, state, zip, and phone number.

2. When the customers information is entered we need an additional field for the customers phone number.

3. The search function needs to be modified so that users can search for the customers name OR phone number. Currently users can search for a customers name, but not phone number.

4. When a customers information is selected from a search his information is automatically populated in the billing fields. Currently this information is in "read-only" format. We need this changed so that the information can be edited and updated. For example if a customer has recently changed their address, we need the information editable so that the user can change it.

5. The billing script keeps a database of customer accounts along with their information. We need this databse of customers to be shared amoung all logged in users.

For example, the way the script works now is:
If user 1 enters a customers information then that customer is now searchable by user 1.
If user 2 tries to search for that customer he will not be able to locate the customers account because the customers account was created by user 1.

We need to make a change to the script so that user 2 can now locate a customers account, even though user 2 did not create that customers account. Basically we need the customer database shared amoung all logged in users.

Important: the script maintains an accounting breakdown of each user.
For example:
If user 1 did $400.00 in sales in the last 7 days he will be able to run a search and view his sales.
If user 2 did $350.00 in sales in the last 7 days he will be able to run a search and view his sales.

And we do not want to change this – we need the transaction accounting of each user to remain separate. So user 2 could not see what user 1s sales were.

ONLY the customers information database would be shared amoung the users – not their sales.

Patient Record DataBase

Hi,

I am a medical doctor and I need a database to keep track of my new customers, returning customers, the items they purchase, the costs, revenue, demographic information, date of visit, number of visits, and reports etc. I have around 100 new customers/patients visiting my clinic everyday. Moreover I want this solution to be able to run on my windows based laptop and my ipad.

So essentially in my office i use my laptop where i ll be entering data into the DB but then once i am traveling i ll copy the DB in my flash drive and connect it to my Ipad to view and update my customers info in case they call me.

This company should also be well established since I will probably need updates done from time to time in the future.
