Hi,
I am a graphic designer and this project is beyond my capabilities. Im looking for someone who has very good english and an ability to communicate with a designer.

There are probably other aspects to this that I have not considered, so I would prefer that bidders have some experience in this that can be demonstrated. eg. you send me a link where i can see how your preferred system works. Also, I work on a mac, so your system will need to be mac friendly.

My client has approx 250 members in their club. Club members pay an annual fee for membership. Included in this membership is access to a restricted webpage which contains a link to a journal. Each member needs to be given their own username/password to access the restricted page, and the club needs to be able to switch off the access if the users membership lapses. So if the users membership lapses, either access is turned off manually or ideally automatically, and attempted entry is rejected with a message such as membership may have lapsed – please contact club administrators. Club has no existing database. It would be nice if the database could email the club as well to let them know perhaps 30 days before memberships expire.

Project Scope:

THE ARTIST.
This will be a place were USERS (musicians, bands, artist)can submit there Music to record labels. USERS can JOIN this site, and have a USER PROFILE that they can edit (think myspace, facebook), information that is on there profile page are PICTURES, MUSIC (mp3 player) and DETAIL information, theres not a whole lot information that they need to add. from here there are two things they can do once they have completed a profile.
1: buy send credits (virtual stamps) i.e $9= 2 send credits
2: use the send credits to send there "showcase" – profile to industry/record labels.

THE RECORD LABEL.
this will be a place were Record Label rep/s can log-in and view showcases that have been sent to them. when they log-in the central view is like a e-mail platform, were they receive new messages and inside each e-mail is the artist information – they can delete and save messages. they should also be able to edit there profile information (like what there looking for, location,) there is no need for them to join via the site, this will be done manually via site admin so as to protect against fraud.

This is really the backbone of the whole site. to sum up:
- A user join and log-in to a profile space where they can add information, songs and pictures
- A way to purchase "credits" via credit card and apply those credits to there profile, then use these credits to send there showcase to a record labels (they can choose from a list).
- A portal were record labels can view online showcase that have been sent

My idea is well planed on my behalf and I have all the database fields and layout drafts to go by.

The logo is for a house music project. I have a basic (very basic!) idea of the concept – line drawings, simplistic Illustrator graphic, but ideally I need someone who is a well trained user on a graphics program to re-design it. I want it it to look sharp, colorful. Its not very complex idea but my limited capabilities on graphics programs means i cant pull it off myself!

I can forward details to anyone who is interested. Budget is not big. I have been quoted £1800 by 2 Logo designers but this is not taking into account the idea I have already.

It would be a good side project for someone wanting some extra cash and there is def more work to come out of it once the website is up and the releases start shipping out. This cannot happen until the logo is designed!

Website Converstion – Joomlaa

Overall project- Web site conversion from a php/xhtml site to Joomla framework with an extension to a Joomla CMS. Old site is still up and functioning and available for reference. New site Joomla framework has been started and is also up and functioning. Ready for development. New graphics done and avail via PSDs. Need conversion to Joomla

1st Stage- Demonstrate programming capability- AJAX, CSS, Javascript based programming to make Shot Chart component/module. Will use data from custom MySQL db to display location of made/missed shot attempts. Will be able to select by team, player and period. Graphic design (via PSD) will be provided. See attached pic for example.

Successful completion of stage one will result in consideration for stage two award.

2nd Stage- develop and implement Joomla modules that connect to a custom MySQL DB. A lot of re-use so each module is not a complete re-design. Open to DB support as well. Please see references.

Integrate the modules to the Joomla site with proper css/xhtml coding. 6 frontend designs in PSD are provided. Further discussion required – must be xhtml, css validated clean code. Markup must be simple, clean and valid.(cross browser including IE6)

Sidenote: PSDs were done by good graphic designer however they were not necessarily properly layered for Joomla. You are expected to make amendments and properly layer it. You will deliver back css xhtml and psd files. Business logic of the project and other communication will be discussed in details via email, skype and /or phone

I am currently developing an online RPG system, web browser based. Even though it is going quite well,
i constantly find myself hindered by the fact that i have a problem, a very common one amongst coders in fact. I have terribly taste.

I have a quite good idea of how i want it to look, but my design skills are just sub par, and as such i will need help from you, fellow designers.

Besides the site layout, i also have loads of future work, from simple stuff as icon creation / customization, to medium sized graphic designs of characters, since each relevant NPC will have its own "portrait" foto, so if you can combine web design skills with illustration skills you are a keeper. But if you arent worry not there is still work for you in the future in other projects.

The general "feeling" that im trying to capture for this particular site is a very Gothic, Dark & Detailed one, of the likes of Diablos website, Age of Conan, Fallen Sword, etc.

Now the challenge arises with getting all these products easily seen, especially their prices displayed to the end user all on the front page. It is essential that the end user is able to compare the different pack sizes and the savings that can be made.

I am open to design styles and suggestions to make this work. Possibly a grid style, or a tabbed system with pack sizes running along the top, and Cable Ties sizes running along the left hand side.

Attributes of colour can be selected after the fact when the end user clicks on the desired product.
What is not needed is the product description page for each product.

To Hell With the Devil

Created in a .psd format and made to look like the band Strypers logo. Here is an example of what the logo looks like this:
