A full time webdesigner/coder needed with good skills in joomla, php, html, css, photoshop.
Work to be done in Joomla.
One thing we would need to discuss is how manage localization. Our site is now in English, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. I dont want to have to manage four site. The way it works now is that we have the design separate from the content. So, for example, we only have one file for the home page. The home page HTML file (actually PHP file) doesnt have any content. Instead, based upon which language is selected, it pulls the text for that file from the appropriate language file. The content for the entire site resides in one content file for each language.
How does Joomla deal with localization?
Also, we currently have Moveable Type for managing blogs. I really like Moveable Type for its professional management features, although customizing it is tricky. Does Joomla offer full-featured blogging options? Or, if we want to stick with Movable Type, are you able to customize Movable Types templates so that it integrates well with the Joomla site?
We are moving to Joomla because we want an easy way to add pages and sections to the site, and edit existing content. We are really looking for a template so that we just have to worry about writing and editing content. Any thoughts are suggestions you have on setting up the site and pricing information would be appreciated.

I have a small website which is to be in joomla . its partly already done and needs some tidying up to make more room for logo and some boxes to show in the template . It needs about ten pages of content added from a word doc and some images within the content area . The site is already designed as it based off a template .
I need someone to just sort out any small issues like making the space in the template have a bit more space at the top to fit the logo , a small issue with a coloured box on the template not showing and then copy the text from word document to populate the site and add images (Ild suply ) within the content area
The editor i use within Joomla is cuteeditor (which is easier in my opinion) and thats already installed, and template is already installed (has a few small gliches need sorting such as to make a bit more room at the top of the template as teh logo woudl look better biger than the one on the template
I think this needs a designer with some joomla exprience or a programmer who has some design experience so that the pages look nice and well layed out , but as the site is based off a template theres not much design just making content pages look neat and check pages set up correctly ect
I woudl like to assign this befire saturday morning so it can be complete on sat or sunday, its not a complicated job and wont take long for someoen who knows joomla and has good layout skills
Idealy i woudl like someone who can complete thsi weekend , its not too hard and joomla and template is installed already and just needs pages set up and popukated in aneat way mostly

The live site is up and running and will not be touched.
