Project brief
My team programmer/symfony expert is away sick and will be away for the next few months.
I am looking for a Symfony 1.4 framework or Symfony 2 expert to assist me building a community/social network website.
The website will have all the regular features that a community network has. For ideas I will be referring to websites like tagged, facebook etc. I have the blueprint for the homepage and user logged in page/account area. Everything else will branch out from there. Right now I do not require a design for the website.
My aim is to get the foundation and functionality of the website sorted out then I will worry about the graphics etc near the end of the project but you wont need to worry about the design side of the project.
I am ok with the basics of php so this will be a learning experience for me. I will need to be involved from the get go so I need a programmer who can be in constant communication with me through out the life of this project because we will be working together and I will need to know exactly how my site is working.
You will need to use an instant messenger such as skype, windows live messenger, yahoo messenger, gtalk or blackberry messenger.
Money will be escrowed within the first week of next month. We will spend the time up until then preparing the framework for the project. Building the models, schema etc.

I need a class or module that can decode Yahoo messenger archives and output the decoded archives into text or html files. The finished code will be inserted into another project Im working on. Information about how Yahoo messenger archives are encoded can be found here:

The code must be able to discover the local user ID based on the archives file name (see the second link posted above).
The output file must be readable and in the same style as typical IM conversations (ie, one response per line with timestamp and user preceding each message).
Finally, youll need to let me know what variables to feed to the converter. Ideally, all it will need is the path to the file being converted.
