I own a PHP coded online RPG (Fantasy setting, not Mafia) that has been in development for 3 years now. Its about 90% complete however there are still a few things that are left to code in and ensure that it has complete functionality. Besides that, the game has many bugs.

We have a phpbb3 board running on following server:
CPU: i7 860
RAM: 8GB ddr3 (8GB more can be added)
HDD: 2xintel 32GB slc in raid0
Using mysql (innodb), lighttpd, eaccelerator for php caching, sphinx for search, running on Ubuntu 10.04 64bit.
Board stats:
2.6 mil articles, 100k registered users, 7.23 GiB database size.
Server has extremely high load most of the time, its not running anywhere near good, but I think that the server is powerful enough to run a single site like that. Therefore Im looking for someone who is discrete and can really optimize phpbb3 and the server its running on.

My customer wishes to have an online dating website… PHP with MySQL backend database.
We will have a template put together which I can show. Would like the sire to have a members area with profiles which can be edited by users. Also we would need an administrator area. Where site content can be managed by admin staff.

Anyways… thats not my website… but Im told that is the code that was used to create it.
Moving on – I need to add new products. I click on the button Add product and it takes me to the input screen with all the fields. I fill all of them out and hit submit – and then nothing happens… no trying to load anything… it acts like a button without any code associated with it.
Im well-versed in html/css… but not so good at PHP and the associated MySQL. This shouldnt be too hard as Ive given you the link to the original source code… something is simply broken or missing.

I needed to recompile PHP to enable GD and when the processing was done all of the wordpress blogs on my server broke. Basically no Categories, Links in the Blogroll or ads are working. I checked the tables in my mysql database and the data is still there but everything is just wrong, I need help badly!

On a local WAMP server it worked fine, but now it seems dat there is no connection, and it is mentioning driver not found.

Import Contacts PHP Script

I need someone to create a PHP script that can import a users contacts from the following sites: Hotmail, Aol Mail, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Hi5, Friendster, MySpace, Orkut etc. I know there are free systems out there but I have a fully developed site. You must provide samples of sites where you have implemented this already and refer to my requirements in your bid.

Requirements:
1) The script must get the friends names and email addresses, allow the user to select their contacts via checkbox (but by default all checkboxes will be ticked).
2) After clicking on the import button, the values must be exported into a mysql database table called members_contacts (fields = member_id, friend_id, firstname, lastname, email_address)
3) It must be compatible with PHP 5, contain no deprecated code and the entire script should be Object Oriented.
4) The script must be well documented to assist me in plugging it into my site – e.g. which section of code to rename mysql to my mysql database etc.
5) Ongoing support will be required in case a site changes their code and your plugin stops working…so there will be more work coming from this one project

I have PHP page displaying data from MySQL. I have forms that allows folks to search the table by subject, levels, etc… as well as set the number of records to be displayed on one page. I have a problem with the latter number of records filter with URL queries that use arrays. Ive been plugging away for hours, but I imagine real programmer could fix it in minutes. Also… there are checkboxes in this form that I would like to remain checked when the query is run. Thanks for reading!

1) Fix a problem I have with a current php element a html page which is not working correctly and
2) Design Me a new Php/Mysql that I required to be added to an html Page
– The php will hard code a Product in it
– then give the options to a user to select from 1 to 10 product types (drop down boxes) from the screen and search the table and return the cost to the screen.

We need your help in improving & maintaining a couple of shell scripts to process billing data (ETL) from a mysql and create PDF reports (invoices). Script is already done and works fine. It just uses 2 tables. Script along with mysql tables need to be installed in our Ubuntu Server 10.04 LTS.
Heres a list of the possible tasks:
1) Install MySQL 5.1
2) Install Java 6
3) Create a mysql database
4) create mysql user/pw
5) install supplied sql schema
6) Populate the tables from an Internet site and/or supplied CSV file.
7) Find a way to automate the script one of the tables can be automatically loaded from an Internet site
Add option to specify date parameters to script
9) Automate the process of running the script on the first of each month and only if the tables have been updated
10) Correct errors in script and find ways of improving/optimizing
11) Provide technical support
12) Come up with a way to execute script remotely via a web service
13) Have script write results to a mysql table and do extensive logging of operations done

I am looking to create an embedabble Google Map store locator style mashup. I would for end-users to be able to filter by locations type (ie. school, afterschool program location, office location, etc.) to be able to search by zip code, or state and city, like Google Maps. Information in the bubbles will include images, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, websites, etc. The pins used on the map should be customized with our logo. I would also like the users location to be automatically detected via IP or other method so the map goes to their location automatically.
I will probably want to embed in wordpress, but maybe another cms or standalone php site, so php seems like the best bet, but I am always open to suggestions.
In terms of backend, I would need to be able do bulk upload of data to start and be able to add new locations easily. I can access and manipulate the mysql tables with mysql admin, so the bulk upload wont be an issue and editing wont either, but creating a backend to add and edit would be nice…
