I am creating a blog in which informal public polling plays a major role. Polling feature should allow only one vote per person. Must be able to shut off poll after a certain time period (does not need to be automatic, I can do it manually).
Outside of polling feature, this will be a basic blog installation.

I need help with a commenting system that has 5 star ratings. For example, I want my user to write a review (writereview.php) and rate the client on 4 categories (Overall, Value, Price, Service). I want this to be stored on mysql. The review should be displayed on reviews.php. I want the reviews to display the star ratings and comment left by the user together. I wanted to use ip address for that so user cannot vote twice. On the top of the page I want to display the average votes (all users voted) of all the categories. I also want to display "Overall rating" on a completely separate page. That is the basic that I need. Please PM if you have any questions. I am learning PHP and MySQL but I am short of time trying to make this work. Looking for help.

I currently have a PHPMotion v 2.0 video sharing site (located at fxrumxtuxbe.com- remove xs)
I want to change the rating system from being based out of a five-star to being a Like-Dislike rating system. I want it to look similar to YouTubes rating system, (except maybe the "already voted" bar will appear more full, as opposed to YouTubes which makes it look empty unless hundreds of people have voted.)
It must, however, light up with color the way YouTubes does, with similar thumbs up/thumbs down icons.
Please note, there is some type of issue on my site which causes all videos to currently begin automatically at 34 votes. This needs to be fixed.

Hi we currently have a website and we use joomla what we want for the site is for it to be fully automated as in the members input there own scores and this is reflected in the league standings rather than them post in a forum. Hi, I have tried to implement a variation of the following star rating system:

Everything works except for when the user clicks on a star, it only sometimes triggers a jQuery click event. I need somebody to modify my page so that everytime a user clicks on one of the stars, it triggers my jQuery event.
The rollover effect and setting the initial value of the star works fine, it is only when the user clicks on a star that it doesnt work. All I need is a jQuery method to be fired. You do not need to worry about what the jQuery method does, just to make sure that it is fired when the user clicks on a star.
The page is created through php and uses css for styling.

Drupal Website Tweaks:
1. Comment Rating: We have the Thumbs-up/Down rating system in place already, but want too add a couple additional rating criterions to the mix. The basic template is in place, so you will simply need to add the two new ratings and style properly on the site.
2. Properly implement Facebook/Twitter Connect APIs to allow users to use either those login credentials to comment on our website. Winning bidder must properly style & update login page + bottom of comments area within nodes to give interested new users an option between signing up a regular user or using either their Facebook or Twitter accounts to comment on the site.
