Custom Project Collaboration Portal / Template In Sharpoint

We are looking for someone with Sharepoint development experience that can take one of the many off-the-shelf project portal templates available for Sharepoint and customize it to fit our needs.

We are a creative agency that specializes in the development of web-based training courses. The process of creating these courses involves many teams working together to pass through many project gates. We need a Sharpoint-based portal that will provide the following capabilities:

1. A communications hub for project team members to collaborate, discuss issues, share ideas and provide status updates. Discussion forums, wikis, ability to add comments are all things we foresee needing.
2. A tool for project managers to be able to create timelines, milestones, tasks, deliverables, budgets and have the necessary visibility to all of these in order to properly manage the project through the development cycle. Project status reporting, Gantt charts, timelines, budget vs. actual reporting are all possible requirements from a PM perspective.
3. Serves as a repository for all assets used during the execution of a project. All documentation, correspondence, creative assets (or links to other repositories as appropriate) are all captured in a single place where anyone working on the project can get to them.
4. Some back-end integration with Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) and TenRox may be required. Solomon is our financials system that is used for budget tracking, invoicing and job cost accounting. TenRox is the tool we use for time entry on jobs. Both systems use SQL Server as their back-end database.

We have found a number of off-the-shelf Sharepoint solutions that may do one or two of these things well, but none that do all of them to the degree we require.

This project will entail assisting with the selection of the best "starting point" Sharepoint templates and customizing them to the degree necessary to satisfy the above objectives.

2. RESPONSIBILITY
Manages correct issuance of the baseline Master Time Schedules (MTS) at Project Start-up

by identifying schedule risks and opportunities early-on, and developing mitigation plans
3. MAIN DUTIES

the MTS, including any commercial and contractual requirements necessary for claims,

Obtains the internal and external participants commitment on a common Target Schedule
and secures the MTS frozen Acceptance Certificate signed by all relevant participants
 Updates the MTS and prepares all Project Planning Reporting on a monthly basis,
highlighting critical areas to the Project Director and Project Team. Prepares the STECO and
other input for Senior Management, the Project Office, and QEHS
 Develops, updates, and delivers the Client Schedule and Client Monthly Report

 Participates in Client meetings on planning, scheduling, and progress matters
 Implements internal and external Planning reporting procedures, and ensures that the project
team, partners, and customer, understand and adhere to their reporting requirements
 Implements a harmonized Progress Reporting System to provide the Owner, Project Team,
and Senior Management, accurate progress status and forecasts
 Ensures timely and accurate schedule forecasting, and identifies schedule risk and
opportunities. Advises the project team, and works closely with them to develop corrective
action plans
 Proactively manages internal and external project activities by closely monitoring the critical
paths and the project float
Oversees and works closely with all participating Planners (Site Planner, Thermal Products,
Consortium Partner) to monitor and consolidate their scopes, progress, and status into the
MTS, and manages any interfaces issue that may arise.
 Regularly reviews and monitors project progress by checking the Engineering Document
Module (EDM), supplier monitoring reports, transport arrival on site, site progress for civil,
erection and commissioning, and the participants progress.

Vtiger Reporting Totals

We use Vtiger in our contact centre clients and we need some customised reporting. Our clients want subtotals and grandtotals in the reports based on the timeframes selected but it doesnt seem that vtiger supports the "count" function for subtotaling fields without numbers.

I have attached an example where the agent calls multiple leads and then they are assigned status such as sale, not interested, callback, etc. The report however shows all the data for the agent as this is the sort field but no function to "count" each status and produce a report that says agent a had:
sales 7
not interested 10
callback 3
total 20

See report attached that needs to be totaled. I would also like a full description of how you going to do this.

Also the dashboard view is a total from day1 … is it possible to make this dashboard by day, week, month?

Guards Tracking

The software I require is basically needed to track security personnel assigned to security patrol tours.
Each guard is assigned a series of checkpoint where he needs to check in at a certain time. This series of check ins will be a patrol. The software will be used to used for the processing, verification, display, and reporting of guards patrols data obtained from several access control system readers.

The main target is to make sure that each guard completed the tours assigned to them and reporting otherwise.

Each guard will use his badge to swipe/check-in at predetermined checkpoints that will be defined in the software. The application needs to provide realtime and ad hoc reporting of data such as attendance, locations patrolled, timeliness, incidents and etc).

Exception reports are needed to define missed patrols, late checkins, etc.

The interface needs to be well structured, intuitive and easy to use. The software needs to be developed as a .NET desktop application VB.NET or C#. Preferably VB.NET. Database can be attached to SQL Express or an external SQL server. Deliverables will be the source code, manual, and code documentation.

You can extract the features from standard guard tour systems software.

Website Spider, Server Admin And Basic Webpage

We would like to find a programmer or team of programmers than can help us build and install a spider on a dedicated server. Once installed and running, we need this person to monitor the progress of the spider and then optimize both the spider code as well as server configurations to ensure the most data is collected in the fastest amount of time. We also need a very basic webpage to control the spider and for reporting.

For the spider:
1. we give it a place to start (e.g., dmoz.org)
2. it reads the web page
3. it collects information that we are looking for
4. info we want to keep is stored in a mysql db
5. it follows a link on the page to another page/website
6. go to step 2

The spider needs to travel around the Internet in the same way a search engine spider would. However, we are not attempting to index the entire web! Well explain more to the finalists, but the basic idea is that we are hunting for specific info and went we find it, we save it. The info we dont car about never needs to be stored.

For the server:
We plan to get a dedicated server at a host provider. An example could be GoDaddy, but well probably go with someone smaller and less expensive. We will rent enough hardware to develop and test the spider. But, we understand that a spider like this will gobble up a lot of bandwidth, processor time and storage space quickly. So, realistically we will eventually need to build out the hardware in order to support full production runs.

We need you to be able to handle installing the spider on the server as well as evaluate the best way to adjust the spider code and server settings to maximize its performance.

For the Website:
We will need a secure webpage that we can log in to that will support:
1. Entering the place the spider should start
2. Possibly controlling number of spiders/threads
3. Starting and stopping the spider
4. Reporting on spider progress
5. Reporting on information collected

PPC Tracking

This should be a short term project for a skilled PHP developer.

I need an quickly developed Web based GUI application that will allow me to provide my end client advertiser with a web based log in or desktop widget allowing them to view specific facts about their account for PPC advertising.
I want it simple but it has to have functionality. It doesnt have to be elaborate but it must look professional.

The client wants to know…
– How many clicks have they gotten?
– From which links?
– What is current balance due? (based on ppc $ input I supply)

Running a linux based mail system where stats can be easily tied into the web gui. PHP is the preferred front-end.
