Create a simple PHP script which runs through all the pages of Yell.com UK ONLY search and extracts:
Company name
Address
Telephone
Website
Step 1) Choose category (for example type into a text box: cafes or bar)
Step 2) Choose UK or a UK CITY (again freetype)
Step 3) Screen scrape all results
Step 4) Then the script must go out to each website and try to find an email address listed from the pages of that website
Each result must be saved to a MySQL database
Table format:
Company | Address Line 1 | Address Line 2 | City | Post Code | Website | Telephone
If a website or e-mail address cant be found, please do still list the company
WE KNOW that MANY of you already have this technology, so please do not over charge for it.

Need something that can scrape emails that are contained on .asp web pages. I downloaded the files and tried to extract, but since it is written in asp, the emails were not on my downloaded files. The emails are listed on the page when the asp script is loaded. Basically, I need either a piece of software that can scrape the emails, or someone that can sprape the emails for me and send me the list (which I will test and compare to random samples on the site.

The program should then scrape the data from each race result from that Meeting and put it into an Excel sheet exactly as shown in the attached spreadsheet called Final Records.xls cols A to W. Then I have three cols X to Z which have formulae and I can occasionally change the 0.166 factor to suit.
The program should be able to continue to add the results of the first three placegetters (occasionally there may only be one or two), from future events as required, to this spreadsheet so I have a database of results. Note that if the beaten margin for the second and third placegetter are missing then the program should use 2L and 3L respectively.
This is just the first of several similar projects I have for the successful applicant.

Heres the PHP modifications in a script, I need..
I have an already existing script,
but need some mods becuase it has broke, do to scraping data sources have either changed something that I can not get the scrape or in the case of yahoo they have altogether stop the service of which i was using to scrape data from…..
the software scrapes images and videos from google and yahoo and brings it back to my website and builds a web page on the fly…..
the glitch is that the google image, google video and yahoo image function is not working anymore all thou the data source is still there, so im guessing thats a simple mod to that part of the script….

the top 20 images that are an error are from a google scrape that is not working.
the 2nd set of 20 images are from a yahoo images scrape which is not working as well and it scraps and send back the image and description.
the 3rd set of of videos is scraped from google which google has changed the scrapping method. so I need that part to fix.
