Description

We are seeking a talented writer with a proven track-record in writing on health and exercise issues for long-term production of weekly content for a new blog that is on the subject of home health, health and fitness, alternative health, massage and relaxation / emotional wellbeing.

The blog promotes and is linked to a successful ecommerce store that sells physical health, fitness, massage, & relaxation products. The blog is designed to promote the ecommerce site but also provide useful and interesting content on these topics in its own right i.e. it wont just be promoting specific products we sell. The ecommerce store sells in English to customers around the world, so an international audience is being targetted.

We are looking for 3 – 4 pieces of writing per week of varying length, to be delivered throughout the week. Initially, we will be looking for content that focusses on our keywords, but over time there will be scope for the writer to become more ceative as to what they decide to write about and input their own ideas. The writer will need to show some experience of writing that is engaging and attractive to human readers (the prime requirement) but which is also SEO-friendly. We will be looking for some evidence of SEO awareness on the part of the writer.

The following pieces are what we need to be produced and delivered over the course of each week, each a few days apart:-

A longer article of around 600 – 700 words – these would be Pages or subPages on the blog and would build over time into an informative library of content that will be a useful and interesting resource for blog vistors

A shorter piece of around 300 – 400 words that focuses on something topical in the news, and gives an interesting or useful slant on that news story

Another fairly short piece 200-250 words that is our health tip of the week

A medium-length piece of about 500 words that is specifically on one of the products we sell from the website. We wuld tell the writer each week what product to write about, and the keywords relevant to that product. We would be seeking some fresh slant on the product (not just product features / specifications).

As mentioned, subject to the quality of the submitted work being acceptable, this would be an ongoing contract that we would pay weekly for, and we are just looking for one experienced writer – one voice – for the blog.

We are preferably seeking a writer whose first language is English, as the blog is targetted at English-speaking people around the world. The writer would have a track record in writing on these topics, and everything written needs to be factually accurate (most important!) and well-written, with good grammar, correct punctuation, etc.

Each piece written must be fresh, original content unique to us (Copyscape will be used to check). We will own copyright on the work once the work has been paid for, therefore the writer will agree not to re-use any work submitted to us and paid for by us. We reserve the right not to pay for any work submitted that does not meet any of these conditions.

Further details on the blog URL etc. will be provided via PM upon submission of bids.

Please read the above notes carefully as the writer needs to meet all the above requirements and be able to demonstrate they have a track record in this area, as well as the necessary SEO awareness etc.
