We are looking for a reputable and solid design team to convert an existing website from flex to either asp or php. This should be a straight-forward project but we demand quality and a set timeframe for total completion of the work. The previous flex developer as well as the MVP database expert are available to assist or answer any questions during the conversion. Also, a php-developer was brought on brought was unable to complete work due to time constraints. He has provided all source material hes worked on and is also available during conversion if desired.

In addition, the following portions of the site need to some troubleshooting to ensure everything works properly…

Ad Function: Currently 5 ad elements.

#1: Home Page Ad Cube — Should be set as general listing or based on location (IP based) which is for the most part setup.

#2: Results Page Ad Cube — Also general listing or based on visitors location (IP based) also set up for the most part.

#3: eBillboard Ad Cube — Set as general, category specific, geographic (IP-based) or category/geographic. Again, most of this is already set up but will need to be gone through to ensure it works as expected. Our current flex developer will assist in answering questions on what is missing or not working as expected

#4 & #5: eBillboard Banner Ads — Set up same filtering methods as Ad Cube.

CREATE AD #6: Replicate one ebillboard banner ad to be placed in lower left corner of the home page. This will not require any filtering methods as it will be general listing (all visitors).

GEOLOCATION: The search results presently display based on distance relying on zip code lat/long and then rudimentary alphabetical. It needs to be improved so that results display based on lat/long like yellowbook & others

IMPROVE ADMIN PANEL: For the most part all essential functions can be controlled at admin panel. However, there are a couple glitches (users not being seen) that need to be resolved. Also, need to be able to more effectively manage and track all ad elements.

GLITCH WITH MORE INFO ON EBILLBOARD: For some reason when user adds this information it shows up but is no longer seen on account page on subsequent views. Further, if user hits apply button at any time (since it shows these info sections as blank) it clears out previously stored info from database.

MULTIPLE EBILLBOARD SETUP FOR ACCOUNT: Presently, a user can create a single ebillboard. Otherwise they would need to set up a new user/password for each ebillboard desired. Developer will need to add ability for user to create/maintain multiple ebillboards.

DROP DOWN SUGGESTIONS FOR SEARCHES: Our db expert has set this up through the database but it needs to be implement on the front-end (using AJAX or other comparable method).

ADD HELP POP-UPS TO ACCOUNT PAGE: Again, I assume using AJAX we would like pop-up bubbles/windows to ensure users understand the sign-up and account completion page. Other input from chosen development team to improve the signup/account usage pages

REMOVE VIRTUAL ASST ELEMENT: There was a flash based virtual assistant that weve removed but the button is still in the lower left corner. This is on three pages (home page, advertisers page & at initial sign-up) and will be removed. THis is area where new ad element will appear on home page.

IMPROVE VIDEO CLIP PLAYER & ENCODER: I believe the current ffmpeg settings/version need to be updated which would be part of the scope of work.

The overall look and layout will not be impacted much but all existing functionality and features (unless noted above) will be retained in the conversion to php or asp design.

We will consider all teams but preference will likely be given to US-based firms. The total time we would like this conversion work to be completed within is no longer than 3 weeks so it is assumed a one-man operation will not be able to handle it.

One other feature not present that will need to be implemented. During account sign-up we want the email verification. In other words, a user signs up, they receive an email with link to verify. Pretty standard but not on our flex site.

Also, all current features are expected to remain at least at same level or be improved as developer sees room for improvement with our approval.
