Im looking for site similar to www.Cardomain.com. Users should be able to login and upload pictures of their cars on their own pages. They should be able to add descriptions of cars, rate cars, communicate with each other through messages and comment. Site will have to have a forum. Online shop is not needed.

Members will have to register and enter info of their cars. On the main page should be search option (car manufacturer and model … etc ). Also, there should be space for newest, last updated and highest rated cars.And news.
But I want the script to show and work from right to left to support the Arabic language.

We need an expierenced web designer And programer, so please have a portfolio with similar projects.

Create A Program That Notifies Me When New Cars Are Listed

I am an auto dealer in the USA who buys very specific types of cars. I am looking for someone who can take my specific search parameters and then write a program to let me know when NEW listings appear for the cars that I am interested in. It would need to monitor autotrader.com, craigslist.com, cars.com, and ebay.com. It would involve writing a program that could search those specific sites every hour or two and then compare the listings from each search to see what is new. The new results would then be emailed to me. I am not a programmer so you may have a better idea of how to achieve the same results in a different manner. I am definitely open to ideas.

Here is an example of what I am looking for. Say I am only looking for 2002-2005 Volvo s60 or v70 R vehicles that are advertised in all 48 states but not Hawaii or Alaska. The program would search the four websites above for those specific vehicles in that specific year range and then email me new listings as they appear online. I would need it to be sophisticated to not email me duplicate listings.

I need this done professionally. Instead of only having boxes, I would like pull-down menus for some vehicle information: Year, Make, Model, Series, Milage. I would like an optional box for the VIN#

I would also like boxes for customer information: Name, Phone Number, E-mail. I would also like a box for comments.

Everything above can be optional, except I either have to receive a phone number or an email. Even if they dont enter any information on their car, I can still try and contact them.

Note: One problem I have been having so far, is that I get lots of responses for cars that are not late-model. If I could somehow have more information that clarifies that I do not buy cars manufactured before 2004, that might help.

This is the specification for revamping website

We make the following points

1. We want to keep most of the content of the existing site, we are happy with the categories and the layout but need some changes
2. The home page to be more dedicated to a parts sales with a section to search parts for parts available
3. We want a better appearance for cars breaking section and make it smoother, the existing way via wordpress looks quite blocky
4. In the parts section we need a full scale shopping cart facility
5. We wish to categories the parts as in ebay under vehicle parts listings
6. We want an easy to use dashboard that will do the following
a) Allow us to log details of cars that come to stock
b) Allow photos of cars that come to stock to automatically displayed, in the cars breaking section , and once the car has been dismantled to retain the photograph for the shopping cart listings
c) Allow a printed sheet to fit no more than 2 sheets of A4 to be generated, to give deatils of car and items of potential stock, this will help when we break a car
7. Site to be developed with SEO in mind

Overall we are happy with the colour scheme and wish to keep- if it is easy to change logos etc then we may consider this. If the developer finds that it is better for him to start from fresh on a new web development template that is fine as long as the web page load ups etc are fast. It might be easier for him and cheaper for us

This is a revamp with adding a few new features not a complete website development package- so we expect a reasonably quick turnaraound

I am in immediate need of a Classifieds ad poster that can
place our dealership pre-owned inventory on Classifieds Ads sites, with removal and re-upping about every 4 days. Must use a staggered approach- ie, post 20-30 cars today, 20-30 tomorrow, etc. This number is not set in stone. Then, when taking them down and re-posting them, repeat this staggered approach, so that some inventory is always up and being swapped. PHP Script To Search And Display Contents Of .CSV File

To write a PHP script to display a list of used cars from a .csv file and be able to SEARCH it too!

BACKGROUND:
I have a .CSV file that is automatically updated with all of the details for a used-car dealership.

I am currently using it to import the cars into a wordpress website as a custom-post-type. I can then search the cars based on their custom-taxonomys and output the results using wordpresss own functionality.

But I currently have to manually put the .csv file through the wordpress system to create the posts every time the .csv file is updated. We need it to automate directly from the .CSV file.

OPTIONS:
As far as I can tell we have 2 options:
1. Create a better plugin to automatically keep wordpress up-to-date with the .csv file.
2. Have a PHP script that references the .csv file and displays the cars info but it MUST also be able to SEARCH the cars and display the results of the search.

WP PlugIn Tweak

I have a Word Press plugin and widget that displays dealership cars from an API. In the widget settings theres a drop down menu where you can select to display only a certain Make cars (Ford for example) I want the same functionality in the plug in part. Currently there is a filter drop down form which a user can select the make and so on and the plug in will filter the result. I want be able to set the default list to a specific car Make. Possibly just use the Widget setting for the plug in as well.

As theres already a function like that for a widget I imagine its a very simple task to make it available for the plug in as well.

The coding for both the widget and plugin are all in 1 single php file.

VB Data Grabbing From Web Pages

Need to grab data from web pages and insert into local database (text file output will be accepted ",").
The source website is www.autoscout24.it, the program will ask for imput search string as (http://www.autoscout24.it/listgn.aspx?brdcrmb=zip&vis=1&state=A&cy=I&page=1&maxRes=20&maxresults=500&results=80&desc=True&ustate=N,U&um=True&sort=age&pool=1) then it will download the page html and parse it to find (//<![CDATA[var cars=new Array()) it will grab all the fields of each record (cars[0],cars[1] ecc) and append it to local text file – IMPORTANT: avoid duplicate records (records already downloaded in previous days) Every record has an unique id to help duplicate check (http://www.autoscout24.it/Details.aspx?id=188695179). After grabbing of first page it will move to second page and do the same until the end of pages (today 3157 pages with 80 records/cars each one). If records in web page are sorted by age after finding a duplicate it can stop before reaching last page (maybe it will be better to put a counter of duplicates and exit by example when counter is 100 to avoid uncorrect sorting). The program should be FAST to execute! It will also need to be scheduled to run by night so will be better to have the opportunity to run it with text parameters or something like that. I use a windows system. Program have to be written in VB and i want to have sources for future maintenance.
