car-part.com has a database of 130 million car parts I need to either scrape their database if possible… (here is what a search results page looks like http://car-part.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi )
If its not possible to scrape the results, I need a script that can query their database, without getting detected by them and return the results on my website…

The project is to write a series of discreet database updating processes using Delphi 7 cgi programming reading input from a web page.
Project 1
1. To build a web page to accept user personal details
2. To accept the submitted entries from the web page
3. To return the user to a menu screen.
The database is Firebird 1.5. the programming language is Delphi 7.
Full table specifications will be provided.
Integrating a cgi script (using the existing one) it in the upload page connecting everything correctly to the database and notification email.
The description is a little bit confusing or short but i think it is a work for a day. Of cause you get access to the files to reconsider your bit. Of just ask for more info

We have created a sub-folder within our Clip-Share video-sharing site.
While the cgi-bin folder has been set-up properly on the main site (website.com), the cgi-bin access does not seem to be functioning on our sub-domain (subdomain.website.com).

We have a website, that has cgi forms.
the forms before where in the root of the website.

but our hosting did some changes, and as a result we have to move the forms to the CG-Bin folder

each cgi form works with htmls files.

after the the hosting update, we had to move the wholesaleform.shtml from
http://www.mywebsite.com/data/ to http://www.mywebsite.com/cgi-bin/data/ for it to work
the problem is the wholesaleform.shtml has many includes for navigation.
when we move the shtml file to cgi-bin/data the includes are still in the root, and so the issue is the paths in the includes work correctly only if the shtml file is in the root/data folder.
we need help to fix the forms, and figure out away, to minimize the amount of changes needed.
i will be on yahoo and or skype to work with you on this.

I need someone who can hit the ground running, has done this before and will come out with brilliant design. The coding should meet all the necessary web standards.
I am expecting the person to undertand my brief, make a few (up to 3) concepts. Refine the chosen concept until I am happy and it is at the point its ready to be coded – I expect this deliverable to be a PSD.
Then I need the selected template to be coded. This project will be finished once these are placed on an eBay listing and it is fully working,

I need someone to finish programming of a custom scripting language. The project is entirely written in C with cross system compatibility in mind and it is already pretty far developed. Means all the hard work has already been done…. lexical analyzer, syntax parser, most commands and function. The project will compile as cli, cgi and fastcgi project. All three modes do already work, so integration of cgi/fast cgi has already been done.
Your work will be to finish the project, as the previous programmer suddenly abandoned the project. This will include adding more stuff like integrating SQLite, adding MySQL connector, adding basic graphics routines, more commands and function… especially for web-scripting, enhancing stability and error handling, tweaking overal performance and extensive testing. Another important thing is integrating bytecode generation/readability and adding simple integrated ajax functionality.
The final compile is a single executable that is fast and very small. Even though, the project currently only offers to compile win 32 exes (seperate cli, cgi, fastcgi) I also need it to be compiled under linux.. but shouldnt be to hard, as the whole project was designed with that in mind.. and early versions were already tested under linux. But to speed up development, we primarely worked on the win32 versions.
You should have good knowledge of the C language and the ability to dig yourself into a complex but not overwhleming hard project.
You need to work on your own, but give regular updates via mail. Additionally regular communication via MSN is required.
No noobs or timewasters please.. had to many in the past!
Normally I would prefer to pay at the end of the project…. as Ive learned my lessons about paying programmers, but being left with unifished projects the hard way. But paying in milestones might also be an alternative.. well, we will see.
Preferably you are a single programmer… not a team.
The scripting language itself is a basic like interpreter for web-scripting. Feels a bit like doing web programming on a C64! 😉
This is definately not a weekend project and will require some time. The project should also be your main project! Means that you should focus on this project and not work on several other things.

Need someone to fix and upgrade my website. Im using Agoracart 5.1 Pro Version. There are a few features that used to work before and now its not working. 1. order notification – customer can not get a copy of invoice emailed to him/her when an order is placed. 2. A link in manager.cgi to change Agoracart settings is broken. It says "403 Forbidden. You dont have permission to access /store/protected/manager.cgi on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." 3. I may need to upgrade to version 5.5. Need some advice if its worth doing it.

We need to develop a 6-10 second animation for a website.
The clip is cgi and should be done by a pro cgi animator and preferably one with experience and portfolio in mussle tissue.
The clip goes like this:
there is a Ferrari car in the screen and you see the whole car but in the back half of the car you see the exterior of the car but in the front half of the car you see the insides of the car like the engine parts, the gears, the wires, etc.
Sitting in the drivers seat is a person and you can see the outside external body of the person below their waist and you see the internal body organs, bones, muscles, nerves, etc of the upper half of the body.
The car moves forward, its driving. There is a speedomitor below the car to show the speed of the car at all times. The car speeds up to 35 mph. Then the car crashes into a brick wall. The car gets some dammage but the video zooms in onto the upper half of the human body sitting in the carright after impact. You then see the body making the whiplash motion and can see all the muscles and bones moving and the nerves lighting up from the impact motion. The body stops moving from the impact and the clip is over.
We need this animation done after review in 2 weeks or less. So ideally you well be finished in 1 week and we well have one more week to review and modify if necessary.
The two important things are seeing a quality portfolio that includes body muscle work and commitment to the deadline.
If your reply doesnt adress these needs it wont be considered.
