Looking for someone experienced with Firefox app / widget / toolbar creation.

I was thinking a toolbar for Firefox might do the job. …Im open to ideas here.

I want the toolbar to branded with my .png or .ico image.

There will be a dropdown on the toolbar that allows the user to select and then download one of 6 text files.

There will also be a button that when clicked, starts a Windows program from the users PC: ie. Myapplication.exe
(doesnt have to work for linux or mac).

Need Script That Opens Up A Pop Under Window On Click

I need a script that does the following:

1. When a user clicks on a link on my website, they are taken to that page in the same window AND at the same time a pop-under window appears with that click.

2. I want the option of having it work in all browsers and only having it work in FireFox. For example, it should work in all browsers, unless I tell it to only make the pop-under appear on FireFox browsers.

This should be a pretty simple script, so please send me a link SHOWING me that it works.

The first freelancer that can show me it working gets the job – even if you have no ratings yet 🙂

Stream Videos From Filehostings

I need a script or wordpress plugin to stream videos (mp4) from the filehostings directly. You can see a working example from cuevana.tv. They use this simple steps:

1) You need to install in firefox this xpi: http://www.cuevana.tv/player/plugins/cuevanastream-tv.xpi
2) After that you can enter to any movie in your firefox browser and see clicking and watching directly from hotfile and other hostings. Try watching this movie: http://www.cuevana.tv/peliculas/3124/zeitgeist-moving-forward/
3) Thats all. As you see, hotfile counts like a download while you are watching at the same time you are downloading.

I need this working for firefox, chrome, safari, IE and opera like cuevana, you can check or copy from there :). I dont care if you copy part of the code from other sites or the player is a free player.

Cross Browser Compatibility (IE) For Ajax Web App

Web based todo list application written in PHP/Javascript/Css works great in Chrome and Firefox but needs to be fixed for IE.

Firefox – everything works as expected

IE9 – mostly functional

IE8 – Very problematic as expected. Multiple Javascript errors.

Required to work perfectly in latest version of FireFox, Chrome, and IE (IE8) only. I would like the Javascript to run without throwing avoidable errors.

App consists of 2 pages
1 – Login Screen
2 – Task list screen / app screen

I am a developer with too much work to handle at the moment, looking for another set of hands. If you like working on this, there is much more work to be done in the future with this app, including this same exact css work on multiple themes/skins of the app which should be pretty easy.

Note the site makes use of the prototype Javascript framework.

Firefox Extension Editing

I have a firefox extension which i wrote it.
And i need some features for it but i couldnt do it.
My extension is a simple extension (You can check it : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/whoisdomain-all-in-one-site/)
After your check like you see , this extension only opens a new tab which include the recent tabs url to my site url .

As you can see our WHOis button adds to addres bar.

Finally,
I want to add our whois button on each search results (in google,msn,yahoo,baidu) .
This button/icon opens a new tab like our address bar button.
For example :
If user see abcdef.com site on search results and click near the whois icon new tab opens with whoisdomain.net/abcdef.com .

Chrome Extension 2 Firefox Add-On

Convert a simple Google Chrome Extension to a Firefox Add-on. The chrome extension consists of a tab control that has 2 pages. Each page provides a service on the current URL. The first page contains 2 listboxes, 3 checkboxes, and a button. The second page contains 2 listboxes and a button. When the user clicks any of the buttons, you wrap the options of the corresponding page into the URL of the current web page and send it back to my server to process the request. The server replies back with either an image or pdf. The extension will display the result either directly in the browser or as a download box.

To expedite the conversion process, the logic behind the chrome extension is available as external javascript files. The CSS and HTML files are also available. For an experienced Firefox developer, this project should not take long.

Clean Up Code

The Problem:

My website looks fine in Firefox, but some of the pages look messed in other browsers like Safari and Internet Explorer. Bullets dont show up on one page. Javascript age calculator is incorrect in some browsers.

What I Need:

1. I need someone to clean up the code and make the pages look like the ones in Firefox.
I want it to work fine in all the common browsers and screens/monitors.

2. I also would like an explanation for why the pages were messed up so that I know for the future.

>> Note: I had to set the main bullet style to none because of the plug-ins/extensions I am using.

4. I need the Age & Years Playing javascript adjusted (located on the student pages).
In some browsers it calculates incorrectly. In Firefox it seems to be working fine.

Need FireFox Plugin

Hi,
I need a customized firefox browser to securely work on a public kiosk.
I know that there are many plugins free, but I need something customized .

I need the following requirements :
-browser should start in fullscreen ( not mandatory)
-no keyboard shortcuts will be available except F11
-no downloads, bookmarks, change home page options will be available for the user
-when going in fullscreen, I want the top bar to never hide ( the system will be used on touch screen hardware and I want the users to be able to go back,forward or home)
-the only buttons available will be : BACK, FORWARD, HOME
-no address bar will be available
-no multi tabs will be available
-user will not be able to see the current tab
-the browser should not allow anyone to close it(or ask password when trying to close)
-the browser should not allow anyone to minimize it/maximize it when in full screen
-the browser should not allow the user to exit full screen mode . The only way to exit will be right click or pressing F11.

I just want the users to see the bar that appears in fullscreen with 3 buttons and a strong security.

I will only accept people that will try to describe how they will approach this !

Modify Add-art To Display Custom Images And Flash

Update add-art (http://add-art.org), which is a firefox plugin which changes ads found on websites to pictures of art, such that 300×250 ads display as different images/flash which would be pulled from a server.

add-art is an open source firefox plugin which seems to use mainly xml and javascript. The only change would be to display different alternate pictures and flash.

We also would like to in use this source code to create a plugin for chrome/safari.

I need someone that can program a firefox extension that will hover a graphic on websites that I select and call back to my website in a query to find out information about the page the user is currently on. It needs to then display a tiny amount of information in the "widget" that is hovering. There is a small amount of data scraping involved in the process.

Advertisement Plugin For IE / Firefox / Chrome / Opera

For this project I would need a silent installer exe wich act like "loudmo contextual ad assistant".
Once installed on the customer computer it should not be possible to uninstall it under control panel of windows or addon panel of IE / Firefox / Chrome and Opera

What this plugin is supposed to do is to show an ad (not a popup) after customer visit X number of webpage.

The plugin must show at the botom a bar with the text: "Skip this ad" to let the user skip the ad .

I will request a review copy (compiledexe / not source code) before releasing any payment.
Once all will be ok I will send you payment and you send me soure code to complete the transaction.

Requirements:
– need review copy unless Im satisfied
– I need to be able to change the "page counter" before loading the ad (at least in source code)
– application need to be silent on installation
– user must not be able to uninstall application into control panel or into plugin panel
– application must work with IE 6/7/8, Firefox 3.x, Opera 9.x / 10.x / 11.x and Chrome (all version)

WordPress Comparison Site!

Looking for a competent web designer to build a wordpress comparison site. I already have the design ideas just need them put into a theme.

I am looking for a site similar to www.simplifydigital.com but users must be able to distinguish between the 2 sites (do not copy!)

You are bidding to build the complete site, including the comparison tables.

I am happy to use comparison plug-ins for this project, however I will eventually want a completely custom design.

The site must be SEO friendly and optimised.

Theme must be WordPress 3.0 + compatible. Also Theme must work in Chrome 4, Chrome 5, FireFox 3, Firefox 3.5, Firefox 3.6+, IE7, IE8, Opera, Safari 4 and Safari 5

Theme must work with major plug-ins.

Toolbar AddOn Clone NEEDED – Copy N Tweak Opensource AddOn!

PROJECT DETAILS:

Im looking to create a simple toolbar, or program that will do one thing: block YouTube video advertisements. There is already a Firefox plugin/addon that does this and it is open source (AdBlockplus.org, it has full documentation, source code, forums, etc to get your started)! The problem is that this addon is only for Firefox, and also it blocks ALL ads, not specifically youtube ads. Im looking to have something created, possibly using same/similar code to AdBlock Plus, that will ONLY block out video ads, not ALL ads like AdBlock Plus does. I repeat, I only care about blocking YouTube video ads, I do not want to block banner ads etc Im against that.

Im looking for an experienced person/persons to help me with this project. I want something that could work for Firefox and or Internet Explorer and eventually Chrome if everything works out. We can work on this one browser at a time if we need to.

The final product will have my brand: "YouTube AdBlocker" incorporated into it.

***Please submit your experience, provide any examples of previous work, and explain why/how you can do this job.
***Outline for me what you plan to do, whether you plan to design standalone program that works on all browsers, or create individual addons for each browser along with an estimated time to completion.

Honestly, for the right person this job will be EASY. The source code is already available, and the only thing I need is to be able to block youtube ads only.

OSCommerce Site Layout Doesn’t Work In Internet Explorer

I have customized an OSCommerce site for a friend who sells handmade jewelry. The site works perfectly in Firefox and Chrome, but in Internet Explorer the site layout is messed up. The div container in the center is stretched across the entire width of the page, and the central section is aligned all the way to the right.
The site domain is http://www.jewelsbyellena.com
I would like the site to be fixed so that it looks the same way in Internet Explorer as it does in Firefox.

I had a toolbar made for ie (bho) and firefox (addon) last year and I need some modifications done.

I have the source code.

I need the following changes:

1) Name of software changed in installer.

2) Removal of certain functionality (at the moment the toolbar changes the users homepage and default search provider – this needs to be removed).

This needs to be done asap. Shouldnt be too hard for anyone that knows what theyre doing.

Im willing to be pay more for this to be done immediately.

Javascript Page Works In IE And Chrome; Need Firefox Too

I have a web page (http://web.ku.edu/~utile/grade_calculator.html) that works in IE and Chrome, but not Firefox (I havent tested Safari), and the only thing I can figure is that the Javascript is a little off and IE and Chrome are forgiving the errors while Firefox is not. (I have no additional evidence that this is the problem; this is just a guess on my part.)
