Project basics:

File format – These graphics will be offered as free downloadable gif or jpeg images – so I would like files to be delivered in one of these two formats.

Size – all images should be the same size. I suggest 420 x 550 pixels, although the height could be a little more if need be for the text to fit well. But I would like them to be a uniform size.

Design – these invitations include a border around them as in the example – again, a standard size border for all the invitations would be best. I will suggest ideas for the borders and the central part of the card.

Text and fonts – The central part of the invitation may include text which I will provide. I dont know too much about fonts – I would think some kind of serif font – but I hope we can discuss that and revise if need be. There could be one kind of font for the invitation "title" and a different font for the rest.

Revisions – So I would also like the project to include the possiblity of minor revisions to color or font as we go along. Its probably best if you can design one invitation for me to check first, then go ahead with the rest, as they are all pretty similar.

Legal stuff – I would like all work to be unique, and originally produced, no stock/clipart materials. The graphics must not violate anyone elses copyright and you must have the sole right to sell it to me, and exclusively to me. I am not sure whether, as graphic designers, you retain copyright – **please let me know how you approach this**

Time frame – 7 days from start of project.
Payment – by escrow, full payment on completion of project.
Quality – I really want these graphics to be high quality, and better than my competitors :)They are offered as printables from my site, so must print out clearly, and look very attractive.

Project details – Eight invitations for a girl baby shower

All the invitations have a baby pink and white look to them. The pink should be medium to pastel – not too strong!

The font is black or grey depending on descriptions below. Please copy the text provided for the invites exactly, using capital letters where they appear.

The title should be the largest text element, aligned center.
The text below the title is a little bit smaller, aligned center.
The "in honor of" text should be quite small – but readable! Also aligned center.
Under "in honor of" I would like a blank space, and under the blank space a line wide enough for the hosts to write in the names of the parents. Also center aligned.

The Date/Time/Place/Hosted by/RSVP elements should be a comfortably readable size, each be aligned left, and followed by a black or grey line so that the hosts can fill in the details of where and when the party is etc – see the example above.

There are four invitations with borders and text – and I also want the same four invitation graphics with absolutely no text – these will be blank invitation cards for people to fill in how they want.

1. Polka dot invitation
Border: background pink, with small white-filled spots/"polka dots" on top.
Center: background white, with black text.
Text title: Its a Girl!

Text below title: Join us for a Baby Shower

Text: in honor of

(followed by blank space and under that a black line)

Text: each detail followed by a black line

2. Star invitation
Border: background pink with silver grey star shapes on top – five point stars, filled with silver grey.

Center – background white, with dark grey text

Text – exactly the same as above.

3. Flower invitation
Border: background white with soft green flower shapes on top. The flowers could have four or five petals – just the simple shape filled with the soft green color.

Center – background pink, with black color text.

Text – same as above

4. Hearts invitation
Border: background white with small pink heart shapes on top. The hearts have a pink outline, but are filled in white.

Center: background pink, dark grey color font for text.

Text – same as above.

5. Blank polka dot invitation
6. Blank star invitation
7. Blank flower invitation
8. Blank hearts invitation.
